Hi everyone,welcome to Hero Arts Holiday Catalogue Release blog hop. The catalog is full of amazing products which are going to be absolutely perfect for all your Christmas related craft and card ideas. I had a wonderful time creating two cards for you and both have adorable birds .We have some absolutely wonderful crafters who are going to showcase their talent in today's blog hop and I'm sure you will find so many wonderful inspiring ideas to create the cards for the coming Christmas and holiday season.
For the first card I used the CM642 Holiday Cardinal (4” x 6”) stamp set and I stamped the image on some Neenah desert storm card stock using my misty and the Ink on3 Fade out Ink. I wanted to create no line coloured card and I had a wonderful time creating this one even though it was a lil time consuming. I used my Prisma colour pencils for the colouring and finished the card with a beautiful sentiment from the same stamp set.
For the next card I used the SA204 Birch Trees Stencil and a very light Grey ink to create the beautiful misty foggy background. I used a blender brush to achieve this soft background and then added few ink splatters to create more interest and texture.The bird images are from CM639 Finch Greetings (4” x 6”) which I stamped in a dark brown ink and colour them with copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the birds and then adhered them on top of the Birch tree background. I finished the card with a sentiment stamped in brown coloured ink and I really like the vintage feel of this card.
