Hello friends ,
A2 size cards ruled the crafting and stamping industry for years but ever since the slim line size was introduced its become a rage...I like the slim line cards but I adore the MINI SLIM LINE size the most. I really enjoy working on this unique size and today's release by Taylored Expressions is an absolute must have if you also like making slim line or Mini slim line cards.Taylored expressions has a new collection of products releasing today to add to your collection of essentials if you love creating Mini Slim cards. I have used few new products and incorporated some of previously released Mini Slim Essential products into my projects today.
For the first card I stamped the adorable Toucan on watercolour paper with a light ink and used watercolours to paint it.I used the matching die to cut the image out and using some foam tape adhered it on the bright blue background. For the background I used Karin Markers and blended them with water. These markers are super vibrant and make the bird stand out. I placed the stencil over the coloured background and sprayed water through the stencil. I used the colour lift technique for which I allowed the water to activate the ink beneath and then dabbed it with a paper napkin. This gives a very cool texture to my background and I also added few white and blue paint splatters. Finally I adhered a sentiment on top and my cute card was ready.

For the next card I stamped this super adorable Flamingo on a TE Toffee card stock since I always prefer using kraft coloured cardstock when I want to do pencil colouring. I used my Prismacolour pencils and then used the matching die to cut the image out.I created a trifold card with the TE toffee card stock and then used the Circle window frame Die. I used the Rolling hills die to create the waves and added a yellow cardstock inside the last fold of the tri fold card. Finally I adhered the coloured flamingo on top and finished the card with a sentiment stamped in TE Oreo ink.
