Hey everyone welcome to today's blog.A2 cards have been very popular since many years but in last couple of years we saw a new card size called the slimline card become very popular. Now we have another cute size which is the mini slimline card size & I am super excited to use this size in my cards today. I have created two cards which are absolutely similar but one in an A2 size card and the other one is a mini slimline card.
I decided to make both the cards similar using the same supplies so that you can see how pretty both of them look. To create the background I used the Criss-cross stencil along with some TE potato chip ink.I used my blender brushes to add some Potato chip Ink through the stencil. I then used the Unexpected Blessings stamp and with TE Oreo ink and stamped the floral bunches a multiple times on TE Sugar cube card stock. Once the inking stamping was done I coloured all the images using some Copic markers.I just did some very basic copic colouring on all these tiny images and then used the coordinating dies to cut them. Then I arranged the florals on the inked background and adhered them directly.
For the sentiment I used the Handlettered love stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and then used the die to cut it out. I adhered this sentiment using some from tape on top of my card panel. Once this was done I Created a card base using TE Cherry pop card stock. So though both the cards are absolutely similar and they differ in size. Both the sizes are perfect as they give us a lot of space to add focal images or do techniques like this.
