Hi guys! welcome to this blog post where I am going to feature my brand-new Stamp set called vintage Filigree for Gina K Designs. This is a beautiful 6 x 6 background stamp which is perfect for all your card making and paper projects. This is a very versatile background stamp which can be used in lot of different ways and techniques.
For this card I heat embossed the vintage filigree background with some white embossing powder. I coloured the background using diluted water colours and created this beautiful pink to coral ombre. To add more fun to the card I added some paint splatters and finished the card with a water coloured floral bunch. I added a big bold sentiment using sentiment dies.
This is what I call a mixed media card and I heat embossed the background with some white embossing powder and then used some colour burst powders by and Ken Oliver to create this lovely inky background. I added a lot of water so that the pigments can move around and create this beautiful effect. I finished the card using a stamp set by stamp set by Lisa and I had so much fun creating this one.
The next two cards are also heat embossed and stamped with The vintage Filigree stamp set.I used some sparkly silver embossing powder and created a window at the centre using the masters layout die by Gina k designs. I stamped a floral at the centre creating more interest to the card. I finished the card with a bold chunky sentiment cut out in silver glitter paper. For the second card I used the window which was the residue of this card and adhered it on top of a polka dot card base base and finished it with a big butterfly at the centre.
This card is very simple to create and uses a techinque called Tone on tone stamping.I used a pink coloured ink to stamp the filigree on to a pink cardstock creating a soft tone on tone effect. To finish the card I used a beautiful cage die and a bird stamp set.
