Hi friends,I am super excited with the release Taylored Expressions has planned for you just in time for Mother’s Day. The release is full of fun and spring themed stamps.There are few sweet and humorous sentiment stamps also in this release which will be great to add on the cards. This release includes 13 new products including new floral and botanical stamps and dies that can be used for a wide range of occasions, new sentiment options perfect for Mother’s Day and more, and a new pierced cutting plate design!
For my first card I used the beautiful PICKET POSIES stamp set.I stamped two flowers and few leaves with a light coloured ink on some Arches cold Press Paper. I coloured the images with Daniel Smith Watercolours and then used the die to cut the images perfectly.Next I used the GATHERED GREENRY Background stamp and stamped it with TE TOFFEE ink on TE TOFFEE cardstock to get a beautiful tone on tone effect.I used some foam squares to adhere the flowers and leaves on the stamped background and then finished it by using a sentiment from the BOTANICAL SENTIMENTS stamp set.

For the next card I used the new BEST BUDS Stamp & Stencil Combo set to created a pastel rainbow floral background on this Mother’s Day card. I heat embossed the background stamp in black and then used the stencils and ink blended few TE Inks. I used the TE BLENDER BRUSHES to add the colour on the flowers and leaves.The brushes make the blend look so perfect and I love it. I added few white paint splatters on the card to add more texture and interest.I used the ON THE BLOCK-MOM stamp to stamp dual toned image and it looks like an ombre effect. I added a few polka dots to the letters with a white gel pen so that everything looks more cohisive. I also added a sub sentiment from the PERFECT PARENT stamp set and my card was ready.
