Hi friends,
Welcome to Day 2 at the Gina K Designs November Blog Hop. Today I have created a card using A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS by designed by Emily Loggans which has some amazing caligraphy and its very easy to create beautiful cards in no time. I have also used the set designed by Alicia Krupskaya called SNOWBIRDS.

I stamped one of the beautiful birds from the snow birds stamp set on some Arches cold pressed waterpaper. I used a very light coloured ink to stamp the image so as to achieve a no line coloring effect. I used Dr PH Martin's water colours to paint this bird. Using the same bright pink colour, I also created a stripped backgroud for my card.

For my second card I used the beautifully calligraphed sentiments from the Very Merry Christmas stamp set. I heat-embossed the sentiment (which also looks like a christmas tree) on a water colour paper and then I used Daniel Smith water colours to make the green background. I also added few gold splatters and allowed it to dry. I trimmed this beautiful panel and adhered it on top of a plaid background. This is a very simple and quick card and I totally recommend it for the coming holiday season.
