The Hero Arts Spring catalog is full of amazing products and inspiration. I love the bold prints and floral stamps from this collection. Today I used my favorites to create this card for you all. I started by stamping the beautiful floral cluster from Peonies Bunch Stamp set on Arches Cold press watercolour paper. I stamped the image with light water-soluble ink which helps to create the no-line coloring effect.
I used Daniel smith watercolors to paint the florals but you can use any coloring medium of your choice. No-line water-coloring is my favorite and I find it very therapeutic and fun.I used the co-ordinating die to cut the coloured image which was super easy. I used a sentiment form the same stamp set and heat embossed it with some white embossing powder.
To create the gorgeous background I used the Overlapping Hexagons Bold Prints. I stamped this interesting background with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.Once the powder was nicely melted I allowed the panel to cool and then added some brown inks to create a grungy effect.
To finish the card I used some double sided tape and adhered the flower cluster and sentiment on the background and added white paint splatters on top.I had a wonderful time creating this card and I hope you liked it too.
