Welcome to Waffle Flower’s August 2021 Release Day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, we’re looking to the change in season with some fall favorites with a little sprinkling of the holidays!

For my first card I used the
Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set
. I created few paper masks and stamped the images multiple times with distress ink-Antique linen and got this layered effect. I have used the Arches cold press water colour paper and painted the blooms with Peerless watercolours. The peerless watercolours are extremely pigmented and very vibrant. I added a sentiment and finished the card with some paint splatters and clear resin drops which look like water droplets.I used the nested stitched rectangles die to cut the coloured pannel and adhered it on a Neenah desert storm card base.

For the second card I used the
Bow Centerpiece Stamp Set
I stamped the image with distress ink-Antique linen on Arches cold press water colour paper and painted the blooms with Daniel Smith watercolours. I did not add any sentiment on this card as I did not want to hide this beautiful illustration.I used the nested stitched rectangles die to cut the coloured pannel and adhered it on a Neenah desert storm card base.
For the last card, I used the
Speech Bubble Stencil
and some super bright Distress inks. I placed the stencil on a white cardstock and ink blended a bunch of inks with a blending brush. I added few water droplets and a small sentiment to finish this cheerful bright card.
