This is a gorgeous release full of lovely sentiments and beautiful images. There are some very interesting dies in this release like the mobile die, the butterfly dies and the Mini slim line die. This collection is a must have and I had a lovely time creating all these beautiful cards ,so without further ado let me start sharing the cards I did for this release.
This is a gorgeous image and I had a wonderful time painting this very intricate floral bunch. For this card I stamped the image on some arches cold press water paper with distress ink in antique linen. To colour the image I used my favourite watercolours, the Daniel Smith water colours which are so beautiful and pigmented that all my florals become more realistic and beautiful. For the sentiment I stamped "congratulations" with some black ink and then use the coordinating die to cut it out. I adhered the sentiment using some foam tape and then finished the card with some White paint splatters.
The next card features a beautiful stamp set created by my friend Galina and this is one of my absolute favourite butterfly stamps. There are coordinating dies and stencils with the stamp set. You can use this stamp set is it to make CAS style cards or even colour them with water colours or pencils to have a more elaborate & detailed card. I started by stamping this image with some Versafine black onyx ink since we can heat emboss on the ink. I used some clear embossing powder and then just used a heat gun to melt the powder and you have beautiful black embossed images. For the colouring I used my chameleon markers. Once the image was coloured I use the die to cut the butterfly. I used one of the pattern papers for my card base and a stitched rectangle die to cut a white piece of card stock. I adhered the butterfly using some foam tape and finished the card with a sentiment from the labels stamp set.
For this card I used the solid butterfly images from the Spread Your Wings Stamp Set to create a background. I used a brown shade of ink which is slightly darker to the card stock to get a tone on tone impression on the Kraft card stock. I also used the beautiful Circle Butterfly Shaker Die to cut out a small piece of white card stock and then coloured the circle with some yellow distress inks. For the butterflies I used the Spread Your Wings Combo and coloured it the same way as my previous card. I heat embossed the butterflies and then coloured them with bright yellow Copic markers. For the sentiment I used the sentiments from the Label Maker Sentiments once again and this card is one of my favourites.
The next card is a very simple one. I created an ombre background using distressed oxide inks. I used shades of yellow and oranges to create my background. Then I added some water droplets to create a beautiful texture on the card base. This gives a lot of interest to this simple card. I used the Flying Butterflies Die to create this beautiful background. I used the die to cut out a few white pieces and then adhered them on the inked background. There is an excellent die being released by Waffle Flower called the Mini Slimline Layers Die Which is a perfect solution for all the people who love making mini slimline cards. So after all the butterfly die pieces were adhered I used the second size from the mini slimline die and trimmed the panel.
I used the Oversized Grace and Kindness Word Die To cut out a golden glitter card stock and created the shadow using white card stock. I also used to Oversized Grace and Kindness stamp For the sub sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a thin strip of black card stock. To finish the card I added some golden sequine which match perfectly with the kindness die.
Last but not least, Waffle Flower is revisting a previously-released set by Big Bear and Bird called Happy Day! They have reworked the die and are rolling up the new and improved version this month.I have created a card using the stamp set and will be using the die soon. For this card I stamped the images with Versafine Black Onyx ink and coloured the images with watercolours.
