Hello crafty friends!
Happy Birthday Waffle Flower crafts and Many congratulations to Nina. I love each and every product released by Waffle Flower and it was so difficult to pick my 7 most favourite for this hop...lol.But I had a great time revisiting my projects I did for Waffle Flower and here I have them for you.Waffle Flower is celebrating its 7th birthday with a blog hop, a link party and many giveaways so do not miss a chance to enter!
I love Karla's illustrations and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I stamped the beautiful tulips from the Crocus Stamp Set with Distress Ink -Antique Linen on Arches cold press watercolor paper. It is such a realistic image and I decided to paint it in muted water colours.I love adding paint splatters on my cards as they give a very beautiful artistic touch. I decided not to add any sentiment on this card and will stamp a suitable one inside it. To finish the card I matted it on Neenah desert storm card base.
For my next card I used the Hopeful Girl Stamp Set which is my absolute favourite. I stamped the beautiful image with Distress Ink- Antique Linen on some Arches Cold Press Watercolour Paper. I used my Daniel Smith colours to do the watercolouring.I matted the coloured panel on some Neenah Desert storm paper and finished the card with a tiny sentiment.
For the floral lovers out there, Waffle Flower has the beautiful set Tender Blooms (stamp, die, combo) and coordinating sentiment set Tender Thoughts (stamp). These sets are just what you need to create cards of comfort, sympathy, and care. (We all could use more of that, wouldn’t you agree?) For stamps, there’s also the New Beginning stamp and stencil (stamp, stencil, combo) that can be used independently or together to make cards for the new year and fresh beginnings!
For this card I used the poinsettia stamp set and colored the flowers with pencil colors. I stamped the images on a kraft colored card stock with a light ink and colored the blooms with Caran D'ache pencil colors.
For the next card I used the LEARNING FROM HOME stamp set. I used the three cute kitties and stamped them with a light Distress Ink on some Arches Cold Press paper. I coloured the images using distress inks and created a sky to complete the scene.
I love colouring flowers and I was so excited the moment I saw this stamp set. For the first card I used the gorgeous Bouquet Builder 7and stamped all the images on Arches cold Press watercolour paper with Gina K Designs Amalgum Ink-Whisper. Then I colored the flowers and leaves with some muted shades using Daniel Smith watercolors. I created a bouquet of flowers and finished the card with a cute sentiment.
